That's what some of the AHL hockey stars are saying this time around now that the holiday trading freeze has been lifted. A few familiar names have been moved, but nothing making waves to rock the boat in the NHL.
Steve Peat for Colin Forbes: Peat was rumored to come to Pittsburgh when he was frustrated at Capitals camp early last August. He's been doing time with Hershey and only saw one game of action this season. He'll be sent to the Carolina Hurricanes farm club Lowell Lock Monsters. Colin Forbes probably won't be one of the top 500 richest players or crack some magazine list, but he's probably been on 500 teams by now.
Kiel McLeod for Eric Chouinard: McLeod leaves the highlands of San Antonio (wait, there are no highlands in SA!) where he's not seen any NHL action in his career yet. He's been a bulky 6-6, 220 centerman with Utah and Springfield thus far. There can be only one more team that breaks him out the Philly Phantoms. Chouinard has also been dealt around by several teams already. Montreal, Philly, Minnesota, and now Chouinard will report to San Antonio where they're on a real Rampage!
I talked to my "Washington Insider" over the holidays regarding any trade rumors with Kolzig. I was satisfied to think that GM George McPhee is either keeping him in the dark too or all the non-talk is indeed true. Kolzig seems safe for now.

San Antonio may not be "hilly" from the point of view of a person living in Pennsylvania, but it does have some lovely rolling country. Now, if only they had a hockey team, oh wait, they supposedly do... the Rampage. When will they start playing?
Patrick, did you catch all the Highlander references in connection with the McLeod name?
It's a sci-fi movie with Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. Go rent it! :)
