Honey, Why is da Floppah in our bed?
Just in case you didn't notice, the NHL has been running commercials for their new 2006-07 season. It looks like they wanted to distance themselves from the controversial warrior advertisement to a comedy gag that umm... features some of the lesser charismatic players in the league. While I am not all that fond of Forsberg and the Flyers, I actually like this ad. I'll take it any day over the wannabe Axe/Tag spray ad...
I don't care for Forsberg, especially after his "accidental" slap to the face of Crosby in the season opener. However, this commercial is very funny.
These are great. I hope they start a series of them. The dry humor and fact, so far, that the guy discovers the player with what we presume is his girlfriend-- priceless as they say in another ad.
