I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. When I was out tonight shopping around everybody's favorite "mart" and found that The Sporting News has a fresh new publication updating the new hockey season predictions.If you turn to page 16, the Sporting News details their predictions of who is going to win the Stanley Cup this year. They decided that this is Crosby's year and they will finish first in their division and win the Cup against Detroit.
Geniuses. Clearly they are all very intiligent at the Sporting News and know what they are talking about. They even waited until it was truly prime time to release their magazine to the public.
I don't know why all these fantasy magazine guides release publications so early. The first one I purchased came out before Roenick had signed with the Sharks, so that threw off their predictions a little. Why not wait until the start of the season so that all teams can be accurate with up to date information?
Anyway, I just thought I would chime in and let everybody else who might be rooting for another team just simply let them down easy. Sporting News pretty much has everything right.
