Canuck Killed in Motorcycle Accident

COHF extends its deepest sympathy to the Bourdon family for the tragic death of Luc in New Brunswick today. Luc's sister Eve confirmed things to the CP, but not much more is known other than a motorcycle crash.

If anything good becomes of this tragedy, then let it be a lesson to all the young kids who believe they are invincible. I hope that this accident coupled with the recent Nick Bolea and Dany Heatley tragedies, then maybe this can stop. Hockey players getting cut down in their youth in high speed accents are now among the "1 too many" stage now.

Man, that takes insensitivity to a new level. "Let this be a lesson"?
Let what be a lesson?

There is no indication that Bourdon was being reckless, or even that he was speeding. Where did you come up with the audacity to suggest that?

All we know at this point is that he lost control of the bike. Weather conditions allegedly played at least a minor role.

The Canucks and the entire hockey world has suffered a great loss, and all you can think to say is "let it be a lesson", kids?

Actually, it came out that Luc only had his motorcycle licence for a short time.

this was taken from wikipedia.

Bourdon was killed instantly in a motorcycle collision in Lamèque, New Brunswick,[6] near his hometown of Shippagan, on May 29, 2008, when he hit a tractor-trailer after losing control of his bike and crossing the center line.[7][8] Environment Canada showed winds gusting to more than 50 km/h in the area at the time of the accident. The RCMP stated that Bourdon's inexperience with motorcycles may have been a factor in the crash

The commentary was fair and noted that young kids are more prone to doing stupid things like driving fast. This should be another example.

Go fuck yourself d-lee and you fucktard anonymous.

I thought the post was realistic and truthfully opinionated.

Of course, in the United States, many people don't like that anymore.

Keep on keepin' it real, Michael.

I feel for the Bourdon family but seriously, the "let this be a lesson" portion can apply to so many high school kids I coach nowadays. I know exactly where you are coming from.

For those of you who can't take a second to see all sides of a post without pissing and moaning at first glance.... quit your bitchin'.
