DiPietro Credits WWE Athletes

This past weekend, a traditional pro wrestling pay-per-view titled The Great American Bash, was held in the Nassau Coliseum where the New York Islanders currently call home.

Outspoken goaltender, Rick Dipietro was in attendance and got to hob-knob with the WWE superstars. Despite the corny acting and the pre-determined results, the WWE superstars are athletically gifted to which Dipietro was kind enough to acknowledge.
"I have a lot of admiration for what they do. It's a lot harder than what we do."
This marks a great opportunity for the NHL and WWE to perhaps get together and form a co-operation of promotional ideas. I believe that both the WWE and NHL share fans and demographics. Mr. Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman, has built a legacy of success with even promotions, something that the NHL is sorely in lack with.
