The Flyers lost tonight to the Ottawa Senators 5-1. They should really consider getting a new goaltender over the summer. Chechmanek is the softest goaltender in the league. I watched the game tonight and 7 minutes into the game the Flyers are down 2-0. The first goal catches Cechmanek out of position. Two more goals were also scored just like that. Ottawa just put the puck into the empty net.
Philly's big scorers Primeau, Amonte, Roenick, et al only managed 2 or 3 goals the whole series. The offensive production is what eventually got them in the end.
Ottawa moves on to the Eastern Conference Finals against another Penguins rival - New Jersey.
