Tonight they defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 7 by the score of two to one.
Fredrik Modin (#33), Lightning player for 5 seasons, scored the game winning goal in the 2nd period. The happiest player on the Lightning roster is team captain and noted "old" veteran Dave Andreychuk. This is his 22nd NHL season and he has never won the Cup.
Tampa meets up with the waiting Calgary Flames in the Stanley Cup Finals on Tuesday.
