No, the Flyers winger hasn't been quickly traded, but scandal has arisen in the Sunshine state.
The Yahoo! Sports article was the first to break the story.
According to the article, Miami Florida police raided the National Sports Consultants firm and was forced to turn over their "little black book" of clients with deep pockets. Jeremey Roenick is reported to have spent $100,000 for betting tips.
However, when confronted with the prospect that he may have a gambling addiction, he answered thinking he didn't have a problem (sounds like denial to me) and quote "I shut it off cold turkey."
There is still developing information on weather he had anything on the Eastern Conference Finals.

Really, as long as he's not betting on hockey, I don't see the big deal.
It's his money...he's got a lot of it...and he needs places to spend it. Obviously, it's not the best activity, but it's his choice.
Jagr did a lot of betting and losing on NFL games (nobody bets on NHL games except a few Canucks) and the media didn't make a big deal about it...
