ECHL Reading Player Moons Fan

Okay, I'm not going to rely on Yahoo! Sports for sports news alone. Usually, I have a list of pages and blogs as a digest of what's going on in the world of current events.

My newest entry may seem a bit late, considering the date of the actual offence, it's finally getting it's way to being disseminated.
Dan Sullivan of the Reading Royals was suspended Thursday for 12 games and fined an undisclosed sum by the ECHL for "making multiple obscene gestures" during the Nov. 7 game against the Wheeling Nailers at WesBanco Arena.
The Royals, an ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, should maybe keep this under wraps considering the recent events with College Football and the NBA. I was offended somewhat and disappointed at the pundits who got the knee jerk comparison of the Piston fans in Detroit to the disruptive hockey fans. We're better than this!

The Royals GM ends with this statement:
"We insist that our athletes adhere to very professional levels of conduct and that all their actions represent this organization with class and dignity," Royals General Manager Ray Delia said.

Just an FYI. After Dan was Traded to the Augusta Lynx you discover that his obscene jesture was acting like he was going to moon the opposing teams coach. He did the jesture but never pulled down his pands. Just an FYI.
