Team Canada expands coaching bench

Gearing up for hockey after a long labor dispute, I guess the attention of the entire "great white north" would be focused on the efforts to make a national all-star team for a run at defending their World Championship.

Team Canada expanded their coaching bench by adding Oilers coach Craig McTavish and Rangers coach Tom Renney as assistants. If you don't believe me, here's the source NHL.com.

I guess it's going to be interesting where who wants to be on the Canada squad and how many players are still biter about the lockout situation. Team Sweden has already lost 3 of their top players, my guess is that Team Canada is going to be depleted as well.

Well, whoever they get, I'll warn those players who actually do put on the national jersey. Don't cross McTavish. He'll rip your tongue out!
