AHL Rearranges for Anticipated 70th Season

With all of the news getting Hockey fans everywhere excited that a new season may happen, the American Hockey League has released their schedule plans and reorganized their conference and divisional lineups.

You might notice that some of the older teams that were there last year have either folded or entered into another league. The AHL is also going to experiment with a "rivalry promoted" schedule. That means the teams will play heavily their regional rivals and ignore teams in other divisions. For example, WBS Penguins will play their conference rivals 10 times with the exception of Binghampton only 8 times.
