Twitter is a fad technology that I have no interest in using. However, I got word that the NHL fans have taken it to use and make arrangements to get together at locations and do... umm... whatever!
But the concept of a "tweetup" is explained by a blogger by the name of "goaliegirl". And according to the page, some lovely door prizes are donated or made available to the host. It's basically one big party with all the interested guests interested in the same thing.
An NHLTweetup sounds interesting, but what happens when you fill a room with fans from two hard rival teams? I hope an NHL Tweetup comes with a penalty box.
