Not every player is playing in Europe or Minors

With most of the NHLers that are healthy enough and want to play hockey going over to Europe or to the Minors to play out the lockout. (178 total players in Europe) Other players have used the time to get surgery and heal up.

Toronto Maple Leafs Alexander Mogilny is the second Leaf reported to recover from surgery (Eddie Belfour is the other). Alex Mogilny is suffering from an arthritis hip which only allowed him to play 37 games last season with only 8 goals. Leafs fans hope that Mogilny can return to the form and potential he had as a rookie with the Canucks.

Finnish World Cup Hero and and Chicago Blackhawks rookie phenom, Tuomo Ruutu is about to go under the knife tomorrow. He deserves the rest. Despite getting injured in the World Cup final game, Tuomo played all 82 games last season.
