Okay... has this hockey win gotten any bigger than it really was? Will historical perspective finally push into legend? Each year, I listen to Al Michaels and other sports talking heads push a over-dramatized historic win for USA hockey. (emphasis on the "over" part.)
If you listen to the "historians", they talk about the Commies as if they were 40 feet tall, had three eyes, and they feasted on rubber tires.

The scary thing? Hollywood had ample opportunity to portray the Russian/Soviet team like that. And yet, they didn't. At least IMHO. Yet another reason why I love Miracle more than I probably should...
