It was announced this morning that the Pittsburgh Penguins will play two of their first pre-season NHL games at neutral arenas on September 19th and 20th.
Writer Dave Molinari leaves a footnote on the morning's article releasing the news that the first game will feature the Pittsburgh Penguins versus the Ottawa Senators September 19th in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It is noted that Halifax is nearby Cole Harbour, the town in which Sidney Crosby grew up in.
In other action, the Pittsburgh Penguins will face the rival Philadelphia Flyers in Moncton, New Brunswick the very next day.
The remainder of the preseason schedule will be announced at a later time.
