Bye-Bye Bobby!!!

Na-na-na-na. Na-na-na-na. Hey-hey-hey. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!

Christmas comes early for us Flyers haters this year. It is expected to be announced that GM and the face of the Flyer franchise futility Bobby Clarke has resigned after the Flyers have sunk to their all time lowest with an opening record of 1-6-1 in the first 8 games of the season

Some may feel that this shake up in the Flyers organization has come a bit too quick in the season. But I believe this to be a move retroactive to the several years of Flyers inability to make improvements to their post-season play. The "re-arranging of the deck chairs on the titanic" moment came when high-pricetag superstars Petr Nedved and Nico Dimitrakos were waived sent to the AHL.

Also leaving the Flyers is coach Ken Hitchcock who's coaching system provided one of the lowest scoring totals in the franchise history. Hitchcock had some success in the playoffs, but lost to the eventual Stanley Cup champions Tampa Bay Lightning.

Clarke and Hitchcock were widely known to still continue the use of thugery and goonism in the NHL and their inability to adapt to the new-NHL was their undoing.

I think that sums it all up beautifully.

I just can't wait for the Flyers v. Pens game tonight so the Pens can show 'em who's the better PA team. As if the 4-0 shutout wasn't display enough.
