Forsberg Injury Likely His Last

Playing professional hockey in Sweden with his dad as a coach, Peter Forsberg was content on ending his career with MODO in the Swedish Elite League. According to these headlines at Rogers Sportsnet and Yahoo! Sports it appears that Forsberg's playing days are over, much to the dismay of all the Colorado Avalanche fans hoping that he would come to his senses and play in the NHL again.
Forsberg, playing in his first game back since breaking his collarbone, sustained a concussion and was taken off the ice by NHL veteran Markus Naslund.

As an avid Wing's fan, I will be sorry to see him go! Some of my best memories of nhl hockey are of Forsberg and Sergei Federov going head to head in the playoffs when they were clearly the two best players in the league. Whichever one dominated the series, his team won! As I recall, It worked out to be Forsberg 2, Federov 2

I have watched enough college hockey this year that I haven't really missed the nhl, till now. However, the realization that the Frozen Four will soon be behind us is starting to bring on on that longing!
