Canada Gives Americans Their First Setback

There seems to be a lopsided affair in the Pool seatings in the IIHF World Championships have the Canadians meeting Team USA in a prelim matchup before they meet again in the Finals.

Rick Nash, blue chipper from the Blue Jackets, scored on a breakaway to help his team take a 3-1 win against their arch rivals. Canada is a perfect 3-0 in the tournament.

Mike Modano reportedly didn't play like himself after suffering a bruised arm. Also, Team USA was without new additions Ryan Suter and Zach Parise. The Americans could have needed them both this time around.

Other notables: Canada's next opponent will be the evil* Sweden team, the winner of group C. The Tickets are being scalped in Euros. ($170 CDN, $129 US)

* = Evil according to my friend Jes.

you also mentioned, "As gory as this poem is written, it is just as souless. It gets across the idea bitterness and examplifies the nature of being used and abused. I gues what I'm trying to say is... it's really raw"

hmmm...by raw do you mean a bad thing? (ick) haha, but anyway, feedback and comments are appreciated. thanks for reading!
